Stockport Gourmet mushrooms and foraging

Stockport Gourmet mushrooms and foraging the page of a guy who likes to mess with mushrooms..and forage I hunt mushrooms. I find a lot. I take them home and try to figure out what they are. I eat them.

Often times I find mushrooms that are choice edibles. I usually have some left over. Are you in the greater Licking County, Ohio. area and could use some fantastic mushrooms? I sell them. Want to know what edible/poisonous mushrooms grow on your property? Send me a message and I would be happy to go out with you and take a look. I'll give you my best opinion. I also grow and sell edible mushrooms, cultures supplies and ready to grow bags.

I'll tell you why these petri dishes are better than everyone else's. Because they are individually sealed, so You can just pull one out of the fridge and use it whenever you like. Most places that sell them package them together, so you have to open the package, get one out, close the package, and hope you didn't contaminate the others. You also have a clean place to put the dish after you inoculate it, back in the baggie. They come with a 6" piece of parafilm too, PLUS they are only $1/pc. 20 fits in a regional rate box A (from 43056) and 40 fits in a medium flat-rate, $12.40 continental US

A common question people ask me is, "How hard are these kits to grow?" The answer is, they are so easy, you probably don't have to do ANYTHING. I ripped this bag when I was shaping it to fit in a box (one way I save you a lot of money on shipping), so I set it on the floor in the laboratory. I looked down yesterday and noticed it had found the hole. No misting, no humidity tent, no fruiting chamber. I literally didn't touch this block a single time. Granted, it was on the basement floor, which stays pretty cool (probably 65-70f max.) Long answer short, it is very easy to get lots of mushrooms with very little effort (these are ELM A strain Pleurotus ostreatus)

I should go around the groups and retrieve all of my pics that never got to this page. Anyway, this is Calocybe indica, aka "milky mushroom" , a warm weather species that grows in subtropical/tropical climates, but will fruit down to about 65f is you insist. Makes some pretty huge mushrooms
