FRESH FISH FRIDAY — LET'S TALK FLOUNDER!

Fall fishing is here in Hatteras Village, and one fish we're always happy to see coming through the doors at Jeffrey’s Seafood Wholesale is FLOUNDER!

The guys in the back have been busy cutting and packing some beautiful flounder, and just a few steps from our cutting tables, you can find it fresh in the case at Hatteras Seafoods Retail Market!

So, what's so good about flounder?

If you're looking for a mild, delicate fish that the whole family will enjoy, flounder is hard to beat! It has a light, slightly sweet flavor and tender, flaky white meat.

A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE WAYS TO ENJOY IT:

🐟 Pan-fried — Lightly breaded and fried golden brown. A Hatteras favorite!

🍋 Baked — A little butter, lemon, and seasoning. Simple and delicious.

🦀 Stuffed — Fill it with crab meat, bake it, and you've got yourself one heck of a seafood dinner!

And while flounder is getting a little extra attention this Friday, there's plenty more coming through our cutting room as fall fishing picks up!

WE’RE FINALLY BACK OPEN!

After a few days of wind, water, and waiting out the nor’easter, the doors are back open at Hatteras Seafoods Retail Market!

If you’re riding it out with us here on beautiful Hatteras Island, we can’t think of a much better way to spend the day than with some fresh seafood on the table.

There’s still a little water on the road getting to us, so take it slow, be safe, and please don’t splash your neighbors!🚗💦😉
