As many of you know, my wife has been fighting stage 4 colon and liver cancer this year. Chemo, then major surgery, and now more chemo, and through it all, she has had to go to KU hospital 4 times (including last weekend) and has now hospitalized for a total of 27 days. I have not worked most of this year in order to be able to take care of her. At this point, our finances are starting to thin, so we are having a MASSIVE sale. For now, I am offering our generator and scaffolding for sale. Both items are like brand new. The generator is for sale at Home Depot right now for $850, and I bought the scaffolding within the last two years, used just once inside, and is selling at Home Depot right now for $1,067. The generator was bought last year and only used 48 hours and has never been outside in the elements. The scaffolding was also used inside our home to install some ceiling fans and has never been out in the elements.

We are selling the generator for just $650 and the scaffolding for $450. These prices are pretty firm. We will be putting more items up for sale here, and on November 5th and 6th we will be having a MAJOR garage sale with a large variety of tools, dishes, pictures, furniture, etc., that will be for sale. Our gates will open both days at 8 am and close around 7 pm.

If you are interested in the generator or scaffolding for sale now, PM me, or feel free to call 816-550-8082 and ask for Steve. More information and pictures will be posted later with items for sale on Nov 5-6.

We are loaded with vine ripened tomatoes again this weekend! These were taken today, Oct 1, 2021. Our gates will be open tomorrow from 10 am until 3 pm. Tomatoes are $2.50 a pound!
We still have cherry tomatoes as well as some of the Cherokee Purples.

Come and sit and visit with us on our porch and sip some lemon aid. Have little ones? Bring them along and they can pet our baby rabbits or help gather eggs from the chickens!

Address is 27212 East 307th Street, Harrisonville MO 64701. There is a sign on the gate, but don't forget we live in the woods. You can't see our house or garden from the road. Just come on through the gate and up the drive and eventually you will find us. Plenty of room to park or turn around. Questions? Feel free to call me at 816-550-8082!

We will be at the Harrisonville Square market THIS Saturday, Aug 7, 2021. Besides our red vine ripened Jet Star tomatoes, we will have a great supply of Heirloom Cherokee Purples. The Jet Stars go for $5 a box (around 2 lbs) and the Cherokee Purples go for $8 a box. We will bring green tomatoes again for those that like fried green tomatoes. We brought 12 lbs last week and sold out and left one very sad customer who came and looked us up just for that reason. We will bring more this Saturday.

As you can see from the picture, we will be adding pumpkins, Cantaloupe and green beans to the sale table but we don't have very many, so the early bird will get the worm in this case. We have some cherry tomatoes but they have already been promised. In addition, we will have about 4-5 dozen farm fresh eggs!

Of course we will still have yellow squash and cucumbers as well!

Hope to see you there! Have a question, leave it here or feel free to call or text me (Steve) at 816-550-8082.

When was the last time you had juice one ripened cantaloupe? I had all but given up on the melons, tired of the hard green melons I would find everywhere. We added them today the garden this year and had our first one last night. Not enough to sell this year, but if there is an interest, we will expand our numbers for next year!
