It's a perfect morning for blueberry picking! 🫐 A little cool, a little breeze, and partly overcast. 🌥 We know the season will come to an end before long, but right now there are still good berries to pick! If you've been meaning to come out to the farm, now is the time! Open today (Fri) and tomorrow, 8AM to noon or until we're picked out, whichever comes first. Closed Sundays. IT'S BLUEBERRY SEASON!!! 🫐🫐🫐
Before driving out, PLEASE check our most recent Facebook post related to CURRENT picking status and hours. Conditions can change quickly, and we occasionally close for ripening days. Feel free to call for a "live" update, esp recommended if you are traveling some distance to get here!

U-pick blueberries are $4/lb. We provide buckets. Lots more info in a pinned post on our page (but remember to look at the CURRENT picking post, too! 😎)

To add to the post I just made (which FB Won't let me edit. Grr.) If you are coming from a far enough distance that you wouldn't want to have to make the trip another day, I strongly recommend you call ahead and get a live update. I'm always happy to provide one!

If you have come to our gate during our posted "regular" hours expecting it to be open, and found it with a "Closed For Ripening" sign, I am sincerely sorry for the inconvenience. I do my very best to keep our posts updated with the most recent status, but folks Are going to fall through the cracks occasionally. (It doesn't help At All that FB arbitrarily makes it impossible to edit posts at times. Like today!)

You may check our page, see the day's planned hours and head this way. Meanwhile I may be making the post that says we're picked out and closing and will reopen in a day or 2. You arrive and find the gate closed, then call and beg me to open it for you "just this once." I've made a tough decision, and it doesn't work for you.

Well, now I'm the one doing the. pleading, asking you to understand that this is Not an easy thing to manage. We are subject to the daily, even hourly, vagaries of the weather (and conflicting predictions!), we cannot predict for a minute how many or how few folks will come out to pick what and how much on any given day. The best we can do is manage the field the best we can to provide the best picking experience to the most people possible every day/hour we're open. We ask for grace when our management doesn't align with your plans, and know that I stress out every single day over the possibility of disappointing someone.
