We wanted to take a minute to give everyone a quick update on Sunny Seven Local Market.

As many of you know, we’re expecting a baby in the next few weeks, and between that, rising fuel costs, and some unexpected supplier changes, we’ve found ourselves navigating a few inventory gaps. One of our suppliers recently changed from a 4-week delivery schedule to a 6-week schedule right as our order was due, leaving us with less product on hand than we’d planned for and very little time to pivot.

We’ve also found that some of the products we source require several hours of driving to pick up, and with fuel costs, limited time, and a baby arriving soon, that’s become more challenging than it once was.

Because of that, we’re taking the next several weeks to reset, reorganize, and build a more sustainable plan moving forward. During this time, our staffed store hours will be changing to:

Thursday: 10-6
Friday: 10-6
Saturday: 10-4

Please know that Sunny Seven is not closing. We’re simply taking a step back to strengthen what we’re building so we can continue serving our community for the long haul.

Outside of those hours, Sean and I are still available by call, text, or message. If you need eggs, meat, or other products we have in stock, we’re happy to arrange pickup whenever possible. We’ll also be working on improving our online inventory so you’ll be able to see what’s available before making a trip.

We appreciate your patience, your support, and every purchase you’ve made along the way. Small businesses go through seasons of growth, adjustment, and change, and this is one of ours. We look forward to seeing you during our new hours and helping however we can.
