As many of you know, Mike is experiencing some health problems. I’m am tied up with our special needs daughter, since she returned home to us last May.
We really do not want to permanently close the BEST OF BRITISH. It has been around in Hampton for almost 45 years, and is a thriving little shop providing a ‘taste of home’ for so many Brits, Commonwealth citizens and Anglophiles. Not to mention a meeting place, a little community of like minded folk. It’s fun, it truly is.
However, we need help to be able to stay open, I can do a few hours, but need back up, if Mike or Sammi need me, Dr. appointments, unwell etc.
Cris is not in the best of health herself, which is why We will need to be closed all this week. I will update next week.
However… I will be in the shop on Wednesday to receive an order from 10:00am through1:00-2:00pm. So if you need anything urgently, that is a window of opportunity.
If anyone with retail experience and is knowledgeable/familiar with British foods etc and would enjoy helping, getting 20% off your personal shopping, and get paid for your time, contact us with a DM.
