ABOUT:
The Health Food Store is a family owned and operated business since 1996, providing the camas prairie with a wide variety of options for a healthy lifestyle. Since moving to main street from its first location behind Syringa Hospital in 2005, we have expanded our inventory dramatically due to the support of our wonderful community. DESCRIPTION:
Our main focus is helping people. We specialize in providing a great selection of well known and top brand nutritional supplements. We're always here to help answer any questions from simple to complicated, we share what we know and will research what we don't. We like to think of our store as a resource center of health, diet, supplement, food, fitness, healing, and wellness information. We have an active resourceful bulletin board full of recipes, home remedies, alternative doctors, and healers, general health information, and updates. We always welcome suggestions, questions, and opinions. HISTORY:
Mondo, Jude, and their daughter Libby Leon moved to Grangeville spring of 1990. After falling in love with the area, liking the small town community, and buying a house they settled in to raise their family. Mondo worked trails for the Forest Service, Jude was the baker at the senior center. She also worked at the local health for store, It's Only Natural. They eventually bought it while expecting their second child Veda and created a family business together, making it into what it is today. Jude having worked in several health food stores from an early age inspired a love in her for the lifestyle and business. Through the years they have studied together and gained much knowledge. Almost 3 decades and two lovely daughters later, they have successfully created an opportunity for a healthier lifestyle for their community and generations to come. In 2019 Libby and her husband Rodney Peck took ownership of her beloved family business carrying it on in the family, for their surrounding community. Mondo and Jude are happily enjoying retirement.
