FarmLink FarmLink connects West MIchigan's finest farmers and artisanal producers direct with you. Did you know that the way you buy food impacts the local food system?
(1)

Is buying and supporting local farmers and producers important to your business? Would you like to increase the amount of local food you use this year? Farmlink can help you achieve your goals. Farmlink does all the heavy lifting. All you have to do is go to your computer and let your mouse do the walking. Transparency - It is Farmlink's belief that there is room for everyone at the food table. There has to be. We need all of you to make our system grow and become more sustainable. We ask that all participants, buyers and sellers, be transparent about why and how you grow your product and about how that product is used. If you didn’t grow it, where did it come from? Farmlink is a connector of MICHIGAN grown food. If you promote local on your menu, then be true to how you source your orders and how you promote them. Connections - we love to help make the connections that provide you with products from our local food system. We ask that, out of mutual respect, all connections made through Farmlink that lead to business, be run through Farmlink.

We’re getting kind of up close and personal with our veggies over here.

BUT It’s all good because that’s exactly what you should be doing.

Know your food.
Know your farmer.

And subvert the system one squash at a time with us.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ice Guru Events & SILVA Bring the GOAT Night of the Summer to The Big Room

Grand Rapids, MI. August 28, 2026 — Ice Guru Events and SILVA are teaming up for one of the most unexpected nights downtown Grand Rapids has ever seen. The SILVA Silent Disc-Goat takes over The Big Room on Friday, August 28, doors at 7:00 PM, Silent Disco running 7:30–10:30 PM.

Guests dance with wireless headphones, choosing between three live music channels powered by DJ 1Lump$um, Phnix, and BlüeJay. But the real stars of the night come courtesy of The Critter Barn — a Zeeland-based nonprofit dedicated to connecting people of all ages with the miracles of nature. They're bringing their traveling farm to the terrace, where guests can step away from the dance floor from 8:00–9:30 PM to meet 😍 live baby chicks, rabbits, bantam chickens, a rooster, ducks, and pygmy goats.😍

"We've done silent discos with themes and costumes, but with live animals from The Critter Barn, and three incredible DJs takes the experience to a whole new level. It's going to be a night people talk about for a long time." said Ice Guru Events.
Arrive early and enjoy dinner at SILVA’s restaurant, open 4:00 PM–11:00 PM (kitchen closes at 10:00 PM), with a full bar available during disco hours.
