Versluis Orchards Versluis Orchards is located in Walker, Michigan, approximately five miles west of downtown Grand Rapids.

Versluis Orchards has been a staple of the community since its founding in 1903 due to our commitment to bring you, the customer, the highest quality fruits and vegetables. The Versluis Orchards fruit stand is located on Lake Michigan Drive, three miles east of Wilson across from Lincoln County Club.

Good Morning and Happy Saturday!!

Monday, June 15, we will be officially opening the fruit stand. Cherries are looking beautiful and early varieties will be available Monday. We will also have some fresh vegetables: asparagus, red and yellow potatoes, and some early tomatoes. If you love fresh eggs for breakfast stop by and pick up a dozen. Raw honey from Westside bees will be available as well. More fresh fruits and vegetables will be coming as the season progresses. We are looking forward to seeing all our new and past customers.

Good Morning Everyone…Happy Weekend!! Just a quick reminder about discounted flowers available at the fruit stand. Today will be the last day. Now that the nights are warmer your flowers should be safe from frost. We are looking forward to seeing everyone very soon. We’ll keep you posted when we are opening for the season. Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!
We have some awesome baked goods at the stand today: blueberry pie, apple pie, tri berry muffins. If you’re still in the market for flowers and hanging baskets we are offering a discount today and next week Saturday. Have a wonderful and safe holiday.

Happy Saturday!!
Just a quick update. The fruit stand will be open through the end of May for flowers and hanging baskets. On Saturdays there will be some homemade baked goods available as well. Look for some discounts on Saturday. Hours are 11:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Saturday. Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend.

Hope you all had a good weekend and Mother’s Day. The flower sale at the fruit stand is going to continue for a couple more weeks. If you’re waiting for the days and nights to get a little warmer before you purchase, plan now to check out the selection of hanging baskets. Fresh asparagus will be available tomorrow in addition to some potatoes and other items. If you have a chance, stop by and say “hi” to our family friends.

If you’re looking for a beautiful hanging basket for Mother’s Day come and check out the collection at the fruit stand. Also, for Saturday only, we are going to have homemade apple and raspberry pies for sale in addition to some other bakery items. Hours are 10:00am - 5:00pm through Saturday, May 9. Hello Versluis Orchard Facebook Fans!!

Hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to a new growing season. We at Versluis Orchards are anxious to see our faithful customers in addition to meeting new friends. We are not exactly sure when the fruit stand will be opened for the season but stay tuned for new updates. Cherries, which usually ripen in mid June, will be our first seasonal fruit.

We do have a Mother’s Day special planned for this week Thursday, April 30 through next week Saturday, May 9. (Closed on Sunday) A friend of the family will be selling hanging baskets of geraniums, wave petunias and impatiens. He will also have some beautiful ferns, canna lilies and possibly a few varieties of vegetables. Hours will be 11:00am - 5:00pm If you’re interested in hanging baskets for mom or for yourself please stop by and check them out.

Looking forward to a wonderful summer of beautiful fruits and vegetables and all of our favorite people.
