Jet is still looking for a new address. He’s only 2, we used him young! Trust the Experts(Shroyer)xNext Level (Neiman) on a Brister hamp ewe out of Texas. Come check him out! Feel free to share. He’s pretty tame, you can see Caoilin handling him here. We could throw in a few mature ewes as well for a starter flock. Lambs weaned this weekend.

I’ll always choose the livestock barn.
Not because it’s convenient.
Not because it fits into a perfectly planned day.

The livestock barn doesn’t care how tired I am.
It doesn’t care what kind of day I’ve had
or how heavy my worries feel.

It just waits for me to show up.
To do the work.
To take responsibility.
To care for something bigger than myself.

In the barn, effort matters more than appearance.
Consistency matters more than excuses.
And the quiet moments teach lessons that no classroom ever could.

When life feels overwhelming, the barn feels grounding.
When everything around me feels rushed,
the rhythm of chores slows me down.

There’s something about the sound of feed hitting buckets,
the shuffle of hooves in fresh shavings,
and the steady routine of daily care
that brings me back to what really matters.

So I’ll always choose the livestock barn.
Because it’s more than a place.
It’s where work turns into pride,
responsibility turns into character,
and effort turns into purpose.
