Started in 2016, Jake and Liz Fruchey had a dream of using their 70+ acres to help support a healthier lifestyle. Starting a garden that provided more than they and their family could eat, they set up a table at the edge of their driveway to share their abundance with the community. Their goal is to continue growing different varieties of vegetables and fruits for the community.. This year, option
s include tomatoes, cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, various squash varieties, peppers, plums, watermelon and melon. In addition to the produce for sale, Fruchey Farms is located on an apple orchard started by Jake's father, while apples will not be available to eat they will be available to those interested in deer bait in the fall. The farm also houses a hop yard, lavender field and a growing number of livestock - free-range chickens (with the most lovely rooster), goat and 3 sheep. We do have chickens available for sale, if interested please contact us. Please come out and check out the fresh produce available. Produce is picked daily or every other day.
