Despite the heat, there’s been lots of hatching here at Heavenly Acre this month! After several attempts, our turkey hen finally hatched one chick. Little “Tater Tot” has survived his first 10 days and seems strong and healthy. I had a very successful hatch of quail, ending up with 40! They are now 2 weeks old and just moved into the big brooder in the barn. Finally, i got some beautiful Black Copper Maran eggs from Stratton Steader Ranch which resulted in lots of cute little peepers! If anyone needs Coturnix quail I’ve got plenty available. Blessings to all!

Come one come all to Beale St Celebration tomorrow, Aug 16, for the big Sale -A-Bration event! Open from 10am-3pm, Heavenly Acre Farm will be there with fresh quail eggs, pickled eggs, jams and peach butter, dog treats, and mini cakes in S’mores or Biscoff Cookie Butter. We are having a HALF PRICE SALE on our satin angora rabbits! They are 4 months old with beautiful thick, red/orange coat. Pedigree from the sire only, though the dam is purebred as well. We have 3 males and 2 females, all of whom are well-socialized, used to grooming and handling, and love to be snuggled. Great as pets and for wool but not show quality. Located in Golden Valley AZ
