Cape Ann Farmers’ Market includes music, work by local artists, educational booths, children’s activities, and cooking demonstrations that create a festive community building atmosphere. The Cape Ann Farmers’ Market is a huge success, attracting at least 1,200 visitors per market. We are reaching out to provide fresh, nutritious food for the entire community, regardless of income. We accept Women, Infants and Children (WIC) coupons, Seniors’ Farmers Market Nutrition Coupons, and Food Stamps.

As fellow lovers of CAFM, we have truly appreciated the huge response celebrating what the market has become in our community. Thank you for meeting our announcement with gratitude and support.

We want to clear up the misunderstanding that one group or factor led to our decision to suspend the market for 2022. As supporters of all of the many incredible things that have taken root and grown in our Cape Ann community, we were looking forward to partnering with Gloucester 400 and continuing to work with our many partners in the city. Please read the statement we put on our website to better understand our decision.

The decision to take a hiatus for 2022 was the result of many different challenges as discussed in our letter.

We also want to be clear that we have made our final decision regarding the 2022 season. As for what everyone can do to help? Please continue to support the many small farms, local food and creative small businesses on Cape Ann!

After 16 years of operating a successful market in locations across Cape Ann and through the pandemic, the Cape Ann Farmers Market is taking a hiatus to regroup and re-evaluate its future.

We will not be hosting a market in the 2022 season.

CAFM will be moving back to Stage Fort Park this Summer for our 17th market season. We’ve missed our home and are so excited for the season ahead!
