Opening in 1836, The Village Store has evolved and become a deli, bakery, coffee shop, internet café, general store, gift shop, and convenience store – in the words of “David” from Schitt’s Creek it truly is an immersive experience. We're a family-owned market, deli, bakery, cafe, and gift shop located in the heart of historic Gilford Village. Evolving in beautiful ways since our inception in 1836, we’re proud to be a central hub for locals and visitors alike to meet friends for a cup of coffee in our intimate dining room, grab a delicious breakfast on the way to school or work, enjoy one of our amazing lunch sandwiches or salads, or stop by to pick up dinner and perhaps some treats for home. We also love preparing catering-size orders to support all the important events in your life.

**GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS** We also offer gluten-free bread, gluten-free pizza crust as an option on our large pizzas, and gluten-free baked goods!

🎨 Today is the Annual Gilford Color Run!

The run/walk starts at 1pm.

Come cheer on your community, and enjoy a little extra splash of color in your day! 🌈

Stop in for lunch before or after the race, or to refill your Gilford Village Store tumbler with some hot coffee ☕️ to keep warm out there.

😋 It’s also the perfect kind of day to grab some of our shrimp and sausage gumbo, or hearty beef stew. 🥣

This past Monday was one of our favorite days of the year - The Village Nursery School’s annual field trip to The Village Store! The visit includes learning about community helpers and, of course, enjoying a sweet treat in our dining room ☺️🍪 Thank you Village Nursery School for visiting!

✨Vendor Spotlight✨ This week we're highlighting one of our local vendors, Winnipesaukee Woods Farm! Winnipesaukee Woods Farm is a vegetable and cut flower farm specializing in locally produced prepared goods and flower design without the use of harmful chemicals and materials.

Aaron & Liz, owners of Winnipesaukee Woods Farm, are familiar faces around the store and can often be seen restocking their jarred jalapeños, spicy carrot relish, and salsas or dropping off their beautiful seasonal bouquets. You can also find their prepared food products featured in several of our menu items!

This week will be their last week of seasonal bouquets as the growing season comes to an end, so in honor of this, they are donating 50% of each bouquet sale to the Got Lunch! Program. So be sure to get a bouquet this week!

Join us on Friday, November 6th for our next w**e tasting featuring Omen Wines! Omen Wines are hand-crafted, sustainably produced w**es from high-quality California and Oregon vineyards. If you love their Cabernet we have in our w**e collection, then you have to try their other w**es! Drop in anytime between 4-6PM to sample several of their w**es.

Also on 11/6, we will be offering $5 off every 2 bottles of w**e purchased from our collection! No need to attend the w**e tasting to get this discount, and the discount applies to all w**es in our collection.

🍂 New Fall offering! 🍂 In the month of October, iced apple c***r will be available every day, and hot apple c***r will be available every Friday evening and Saturday morning until we sell out! Grab an apple c***r before heading out to leaf peep or see a Gilford sports game!

☀️ How are you spending your morning, today?

I know I’m going to devour a Sanibel breakfast sandwich shortly (2 eggs scrambled, shaved steak, arugula, garlic aioli, & cheddar cheese on ciabatta, but I also add truffle oil, because you have to! 🤤)….

But first, I’m going to sit and enjoy this comfortable fall morning with some coffee ☕️ and one of Jada’s APPLE PIE 🍎 🥧 CINNAMON ROLLS! Oh my goodness, they’re even better than my taste buds anticipated them to be!! 🤤 We still had a couple left on the shelves as of last night so get in here and snag yours! She also loaded us up on loaves of bread 🍞 yesterday so you’re in luck there, too!

Also, for those who missed our friends from Gilmanton Winery last evening, it’s ok because we have decorated our shelves and w**e fridge with some of their best selections. Stop in anytime to check them out.
