Turkey Ridge Organic Apple Orchard In our Work we will Learn and Teach the Ways of Nature. As of late we've been having to do things a little different. This hasn't stopped us.

Rhubarb Strawberry jam. Yummy 😋
4 cups blended Rhubarb
3 cups blended strawberries
1/2 cup apples cider
2 oz fruit pectin
10 -1/2 cups sugar
We only use organic for your health and ours.
Put fruit, cider, and pectin in bowl while cold, mix for one minute. Put on stove and bring to a boil. Add sugar mix a lot, bring to boil count to 60, while stirring continuously. Pull off burner, pour into clean jars, and cap. Then put in a water bath, boil for minute and pull them out. Let cool and set. Enjoy in a peanut butter and jelly, or on toast 😁

One of the ways we control bugs here at the orchard is burning brush piles around dusk. This kills the codling moth and any other bad moths that damage the fruit. As an added bonus you get to hang out around a sweet bonfire.
