⚡ Here's your 9 PM update on the cloud-to-ground lightning strikes today across Alaska for June 20th. There have been over 5,000 lightning strikes and counting across our region (the most so far this year) with 29 new wildfires discovered yesterday and today. Our two day lightning strike total is now over 9,200. Stay weather and fire aware this summer solstice weekend as daily thunderstorms continue. The Summer Solstice Boozy Book Fair hosted at Moonstone Farm is happening TODAY - Saturday June 20th from 2-8 pm. Fireside Books is here with amazing hand selected books for you and local authors are ready to sign your books. We’ve got local vendors and food trucks. And live music by Braided River from 5-7! Bring your IDs, your picnic blankets and lawn chairs, your families, and your appetite for good books, good food, and good music. Supervised children are welcome, but as a working farm, please leave the pets at home.

Our address is 2141 S Church St and our entrance is on S Church St. The event is free and parking is on site - follow signs for The Railcar at Moonstone Farm.
