Next Wednesday is Back to the Future Day! Although there is much debate on what date is SHOULD BE (why are they using a date from the second movie? Shouldn't it be Nov 5th?) , for now it is Oct 21st. We here at Local Farmbag unabashedly love our kitty cats. Today is Global Cats Day AND National Feral Cat Day, and it is a day cats love to celebrate by getting IN our Farmbags. The black kitty is Smokey and the one in back is Cornelius Weatherbottom of Shrewsbury IV. Have a great weekend and be sure to keep an eye out on the new menu coming out tomorrow. It is rather difficult for me, Erik, to understand WHY the world would celebrate a day dedicated to a vile fungus but apparently, despite all logic and reason, there are billions of people who like mushrooms! REALLY like them. (even when they have little horns on them like in the photograph here. Yes it is a photo. Taken in my brain. After I ate a blue one) And TIL that 60% of the US supply of mushrooms comes from TWO counties in Pennsylvania.
