Hello everyone. Wanted to update the situation on the farm. It's highly unlikely we will have anymore strawberries this year. It was just too wet and hot. If things should change I will update you. We should start to have sweet corn this coming week. The ears are a little undersized due to being planted to close to each other, but the flavor is just as amazing as always. Also this coming week, we hope to have Athena cantaloupe ready. These are the best variety melon (I've grown about every variety out there)and are huge. Smaller, Hales Best Jumbo are coming soon. Please note that I wait until these are fully ripe and at peak sweetness before harvesting, which means that the shelf life is drastically reduced. Definitely worth it in my opinion since underripe melon are available anytime from the store. Please place an order ahead of time so the melon can go directly from the field to your fridge or table. Thanks again and hope to see you soon at the orchard. Corn is 5 dollars per dozen, the Athena are 5 dollars (very big melon), while the Hales Best are 3 dollars.
