"“I was in shock and disbelief,” says a paid door knocker flown to Michigan to help turn out the vote for former president Donald Trump on behalf of Elon Musk’s America PAC.

In Michigan, canvassers and paid door knockers for the former president, contracted by a firm associated with America PAC, have been subjected to poor working conditions: A number of them have been driven around in the back of a seatless U-Haul van, according to video obtained by WIRED, and threatened that their lodging at a local motel wouldn’t be paid for if they didn’t meet canvassing quotas. One door knocker alleges that they didn’t even know they were signing up for anything having to do with Musk or Trump."

America PAC door knockers were flown to Michigan, driven in the back of a U-Haul, and told they’d have to pay hotel bills unless they met unrealistic quotas. One was surprised they were working to elect Donald Trump.

Facebook has even auto-generated pages for militias. In May, Facebook auto-generated a page for AP3’s Arizona chapter. In June, Facebook auto-generated a page for “AP3 NM [New Mexico] Training Range.” If you hover over the information widget on the page, Facebook’s explainer reads: “This unofficial page was created because people on Facebook have shown interest in this place or business. It’s not affiliated with or endorsed by anyone associated with AP3 Training Range.”

This means Facebook is making anti-American militia pages without any even asking them too.

Ahead of the election, anti-government militias are using Facebook to recruit, coordinate training, and promote ballot box stakeouts. Meta isn’t shutting their groups down and is even auto-generating pages.

Elon Musk has crossed a dangerous line. The billionaire Trump supporter is now blatantly violating federal election law in a desperate bid to boost the former president's struggling campaign.

Musk recently announced a series of "talks" in Pennsylvania - but there's a catch. To attend these free events, people are required to prove they've already voted. This quid pro quo arrangement is textbook vote buying and a clear violation of federal law.

Legal experts have sounded the alarm, with UCLA law professor Rick Hansen explaining that Musk is offering something of value – admission to hear him speak – explicitly in exchange for voting. This is precisely the kind of corrupt practice that undermines free and fair elections.

And it's not just a minor technicality. Federal law prohibits "an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote." Violators can face up to a year in prison.

Anyone can misremember, of course. But the debate had been just a week earlier and a fairly memorable moment. And it was hardly the only time Mr. Trump has seemed confused, forgetful, incoherent or disconnected from reality lately. In fact, it happens so often these days that it no longer even generates much attention...."

With the passage of time, the 78-year-old former president’s speeches have grown darker, harsher, longer, angrier, less focused, more profane and increasingly fixated on the past, according to a review of his public appearances over the years.

"ILA President Daggett enjoys a long relationship with Donald Trump going back decades in New York City. Both Trump and Daggett are the same age and were both from Queens, New York.

In late November 2023, former President Trump invited the ILA president to meet with him in Florida at Mar-a-Lago,

'We had a wonderful, productive 90-minute meeting where I expressed to President Trump the threat of automation to American workers, said ILA President Harold Daggett.

'President Trump promised to support the ILA in its opposition to automated terminals in the U.S. Mr. Trump also listened to my concerns about Federal 'Right To Work' laws which undermines unions and their ability to represent and fight for its membership.'"

This was written on the ILA's website from an article in July when he told people to pray for Donald after his assassination attempt.

Notice how he called him "President Trump."

Daggett also turned down President Biden's offer to help mediate the dispute, "We will not be interested in Biden sending us a mediator if negotiations are not going well.”

Traitor!
In July, Musk reposted a faked version of Kamala Harris’s first campaign video with an altered voice track sounding like Harris and saying she doesn’t “know the first thing about running the country” and is the “ultimate diversity hire.”

Earlier this week, he posted a fake image of Kamala Harris dressed in a Soviet military uniform with the comment, “Kamala vows to be a communist dictator on day one. Can you believe she wears that outfit!?”

In all, Musk has posted 50 false election claims on X so far this year, which have gotten a total of 1.2 billion views, according to a new report from the Center for Countering Digital Hate. None of them had a “community note” from X’s supposed fact-checking system.

Meanwhile, the Michigan secretary of state has accused the Musk-supported America PAC of tricking people into sharing personal data by offering to help users register to vote and then sending them to anti-Harris and pro-Trump ads. Worse yet, evidence is mounting that Russia and other foreign agents are using X to disrupt this year’s presidential race, and Musk has done little to stop them.
