Warren Coalition Let’s Get Cheesy fundraiser is happening Friday, June 5th, at 6:30 PM at North Warren Celebration Hall, and there are still some tickets available!

This adults-only evening supports Project COURAGE and DEALS Hope, two Warren Coalition programs helping children and youth in our community.

Get ready for a five-course dinner full of cheesy goodness, starting with a table-sized charcuterie board featuring cheeses from Happy Creek Cheeses, plus delicious dishes like baked apple brie, lasagna soup, seafood au gratin, chicken Florentine, cheesy broccoli casserole, desserts, drinks, music, games, prizes, and plenty of laughter. 🧀🎶

DJ Harold Chunn will be bringing the tunes, M.C. Pam Foster will help keep the fun going, and the night is sponsored by Sysco Northeast Redistribution Center. Guests can relax, laugh, eat, and just brie themselves!

This fundraiser supports Project COURAGE, which provides hope and support for children who have experienced trauma, and DEALS Hope, which includes drug education classes that Warren Coalition provides in Warren County.

Saturday is the day! 🦆🎶🍕

The Freedom Flows Festival is happening at Eastham Park, and it sounds like a full day of family fun celebrating the Shenandoah River.

Games, food, music, duck races, hands-on activities, and plenty to keep kids and adults busy.

Park at Skyline High School and take the shuttle straight to the festival. 🚐

There will be butter making, weaving, paper making, brick oven pizza, ice cream, build-your-own boat races, duck races, live demonstrations, and more. You’ll also get to connect with Warren County Fire & Rescue, the Sheriff’s Office, Samuels Public Library, and other wonderful community partners.

Yes, there’s history woven in, but this is not a lecture — it’s an experience for the whole family. ❤️

We love a good local shoutout, and today we’re giving one to Saffelle Cattle Co. 🐄❤️

There is just something special about knowing where your food comes from and supporting the hardworking folks behind it. Around here, we believe in lifting up local farms, local families, and the businesses doing things the right way.

And let me tell you… Melissa went above and beyond. I had been craving pork steaks and was having the hardest time finding them. Now, we know we do not carry pork in our store, but when you know good people who know good food, you ask. 🤣

I asked Melissa, and she came through with the BIGGEST pork steaks I have ever seen. They were tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. Granted, everything I have gotten from her has been delicious, so I really should not have been surprised.

We finally had the chance to try Athenas Greek Cuisine inside the Liberty Gas Station at 507 N. Royal Ave in Front Royal… and WOW 😍

Laura and I tried the Gyro, Roasted Greek Potatoes, and Seafood Bruschetta — and every single bite was absolutely delicious. We were all jumping in to eat before I could even get proper pictures 😂

Not only was the food amazing, but the family behind it was just as wonderful. The father has worked in Greek restaurants his entire life, and you can truly taste the experience, care, and tradition in the food ❤️

We will DEFINITELY be back!
