Thankful.

I’ve had so many beautiful opportunities to share my flower/gardening passion with my community all summer long, but it seems as though my season is coming to a close end.

Just wanting to reach out and say thank you to Outpour Coffee for giving me a chance to sell my home-grown arrangements in their coffee shop, it was just the outlet I needed. Outside of being a wife and mother to my kids and my animals, it was a space I created all for my self, it gave me purpose, and most of all, joy.

It appreciate everyone who purchased, even just recognizing and admired my flowers,
all the kind messages I received about them means the world to me.

I was a great season, lots of trial and errors, but I overcame. I hope to be back BIGGER (yes bigger 🤪) stronger and wiser next year.
There’s always room for growth, and I thrive in it! I’m so excited for what spring has in store for our homestead!

My baby girl showed her birds for the first time ever. ❤️

I’m so proud.
It was hard, there were areas that were incredibly challenging for her but she completed the final goal she set out for herself. With lots of pep talks in between and hours of studying, she finished strong and confident. And that was mamas goal in the end. ❤️

We took note on what we want to do and change for next year that will only improve her. But for now, we are done. And we shall rest. Haha.

Hard work paid off. 🩷

Look at all the flowers in this room! I was blown away! So many beautiful entries I honestly was shocked I even got anything!

The kids even got a lesson on what the judges look for when making their decisions. (I took note too, for next time 🧐😜😉)

I’m only gonna go harder next year, right? Didn’t realize how competitive I was till 4-H came around. Holy cow the competition is insane! Such a huge learning experience we had this year and I’m so grateful for all that me and the kids were able to get involved with!

Today was a magical day for the Emery household. We released our first three (of many!) monarch butterflies back into our garden. ❤️

2 1/2 more weeks till freezer camp for Montanas last 4-H project!

Skillathon on Sunday, then it’s fair with Sandusky County 8/18-8/24!! We have a lot of open-class entries this year we are looking forward to, vegetables, flowers, baked goods and some wood working!

We will be working the milkshake booth that Friday evening, come see us!
