There are no days off on the farm, even on fathers day. The weeds keep growing and the to-do list is just as long.

But that's who farm dads are....
They teach us that hard work is an act of love. They build something bigger than themselves, one season at a time, leaving behind more than crops—they leave behind memories, values, and a legacy.

Today we're especially grateful for the dads who keep showing up, even on Father's Day. Thank you for every early morning, every late night, and every sacrifice made for your family.

The flowers are growing... and unfortunately, so are the weeds. 🌱🌼

Today was spent in the flower field, pulling weeds for nearly 8 hours. 🥴

Growing beautiful flowers isn't always glamorous, but every hour spent weeding now means healthier plants and more blooms later.

The flowers are coming along beautifully, and we can't wait to share them with you soon. 💐

This field doesn't look like much right now but in a few weeks it will be full of flowers!

Zinnias, dahlias, cosmos, sunflowers, and so much more all from Harris Seeds! We spoke to representatives from Harris at the Great Lakes Expo last year and they were incredibly helpful! So excited to show them the progress we have made!

What a great start to Memorial weekend! We planted sunflowers, gourds, squash, and oh so many pumpkins!

We were covered in dirt, and tired from the long day but we paused and took time to celebrate Ammas "29th" birthday. The one that puts everyone first with no hesitation, The one who makes sure we are fed, hydrated, and cared for. The one that keeps us all going. We would be lost without Amma.

It was a great reminder that the best things we grow on the farm, are the memories.

One day I asked my father in law: "can I plant some sun flowers?"....... and now we’re here. 🌻😂

10,000 sunflowers seeds sitting here that will soon be in bouquets on our kitchen tables, gifted to friends, family, or just wanting to spread some joy!

It was a busy day on the farm! We planted zinnias, cosmos, dahlias, basil, tomatoes, peppers, onions and so much more!

We got fields worked up prepped for pumpkins, rocks picked out of the field and enjoyed lots and lots of sunshine!

Spring on the farm doesn’t last long… and this week reminded us why you have to stop and soak it in.

Tonight the orchard was alive! Wild turkeys wandering between the apple trees, trees exploding with blossoms, and a sunset that made the whole orchard glow pink and gold.

These are the moments that make the long days, late nights, and unpredictable Michigan weather worth it. In just a few days, these blooms will be gone. But for now, the farm looks like something out of a postcard!

IT’S GO TIME 🌱🚜

The tractor’s rolling, the fields are turning, and the season is officially underway! There’s nothing like that first stretch of dirt getting prepped—full of possibility and everything we’ve been waiting for all winter.

Long days, long nights, and a whole lot of hard work ahead—but we wouldn’t have it any other way. This is where the magic starts… dirty boots, tired hands, and excitement for what’s coming next.

Let the season begin!
