Braehead Farm Braehead Farm is the last remaining farm in the Historic City of Fredericksburg. The Snead family opened Braehead Farm to the public, on May 1, 2013.

Open daily 9-5 in the Winter months starting in November, and 9-6 in Spring/Summer/Fall, with a Farm Market and also PICK YOUR OWN produce such as strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, veggies and more! It is always free to come to the front pick your own fields, (produce sold by the pound), the market and lunch Kitchen (kitchen closed in Winter) and picnic areas. There is a $6.00 admission (2 and under FREE!) "Playgrounds" area behind the Market with farm animals, hay barn, playgrounds & more! Seasonal Events have an additional Event fee. The farm offers an event barn and pavilion for Birthday parties, reunions, weddings & more!

WE WILL BE CANCELING THE FALL FESTIVAL FOR SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2026, due to the amount of rain we have had already and the forecast of an another inch for the day. This makes it too dangerous to pull the hayride. So out of safety for our staff and our guests we will not be having the festival….
BUT…
WE WILL be OPEN for a regular farm day from 9-6. Plenty of pumpkins to pick, the market and Family Playgrounds are open as usual. 🎃

You always have options at Braehead Farm!
1. Just come to pick pumpkins, veggies and flowers. No admission fee to our pick-your-own fields, just pay for what you pick. Visit our market, grab an apple c***r donut and apple c***r! 🍎 Dairy Fresh ice cream and milkshakes and more!
2. Play and picnic in the Family Playgrounds and visit the animals. This area is $6.00 per person, age 2 and under free.
3. Add on the Fall Festival if you want. It’s an additional $9.00 per person age 2 and under free. Pumpkins of all sizes shapes and colors are sold separately.🎃
