Hey friends 💛

I’ve decided to take this weekend off from the stand and Goose Hill Farm as well while I spend some time at the hospital with my dad and help with his recovery after surgery.

I’m giving myself the week to focus on family and be where I need to be right now.

Depending on how his recovery goes, I’m planning to be back to my normal schedule next week, but I’ll keep y’all updated. Thank ya'll for your continued understanding 💛🐦🧺

Just wanted to give everyone a little update on Dad since so many of our friends and family are on here.

Wednesday didn't go quite as planned. They started his surgery, but during the procedure, he became unstable twice, and they had to stop before they could complete it.

They spent the rest of the day getting him back stable and running additional tests to figure out what happened. Thankfully, everything checked out, and his surgeon decided to give it another try this morning.

We're hoping and praying that everything goes smoothly this time and that Dad can finally get this part of his journey behind him.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked on us, and kept Dad in your prayers. We will gratefully continue to take them all. It truly means more than you know. ❤️

A little update for this weekend.
My dad has officially finished all of his treatments, and tomorrow is the big day. He’ll be having his surgery, so I’ll be taking this week away from baking to be with him and my family.
That means the stand will not be out this weekend, and I won’t be at Goose Hill Farm Saturday morning.
Thank y’all so much for your understanding and for all the kindness and support you’ve shown our family along the way. It means more than you know.
We’re very thankful to have made it to this point and ready to get tomorrow behind us.
I’ll keep everyone updated on when we will be back! 💛 🐦🧺

I didn’t have enough left after the farm this morning to put the stand out, but I do have just a few goodies left if anyone wants them!

A whole lot of purple, a little shimmer, and some pretty little bows!
These marbled cakesicles, cookie cups, and chocolate covered pretzel rods were made for The Village at Woods Edge’s 12th Annual Neighborhood Block Party, an event that brings the community together in support of the Alzheimer's Association! 💜
I loved getting to put all these goodies together for such a wonderful cause! Thank you so much for letting us be a small part of it! 🥰💜

We’re here and set up for the morning with some fresh sourdough, Reese’s cake slices, dips and simmer pots.
It’s a smaller lineup this morning, but there’s still plenty of goodness to come grab. 😊

I’ve been working on orders and got myself running a little behind. 😬 I’m packaging up fresh sourdough and some Reese’s cake slices now, then I’ll be getting everything out to the stand!
