Minnesota Dehydrated Vegetables, Inc., is accepting applications for a Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

*Operating our dryer for the dehydration process
*Testing product
*Enforcing company policies and procedures
*Supervising up to 12 people.
*Previous supervisory experience preferred; good communication and people skills are a MUST and maintenance abilities are helpful.

These positions do rotate on a monthly basis and work 12 hour shifts. These shifts are 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays is required for this position. In addition to the wage there are also shift differentials for this position.

Anticipated Work Schedule

This position generally works a ten-hour shift: Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday 7 am to 5pm. Occasional weekends or other shifts dependent on product demand (may change based upon business needs).

Position Overview

Assisting with the packaging of finished products as well as assisting in the Mill Room, Optyx 2, Blend Line, and Destoner areas when needed for Minnesota Dehydrated Vegetables, Inc.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for the packaging of product.
· Responsible to keep all packaging, granulating equipment blend line and destoning areas clean, sanitized and free of any debris.
· Responsible to keep the warehouse areas neat, organized, clean and free of any debris according to Quality Assurance standards.
· Reports any equipment problems or deviations to the Assistant Packaging Supervisor and the Packaging Manager immediately.
· Assists the Assistant Packaging Supervisor and Packaging Manager with other duties as assigned / needed.
Requirements and Skills
· Must have negative pre-employment and/or subsequent drug/alcohol test results.
· Read, write, add simple one, two and three digit numbers.
· Lift 50lbs regularly and stand on your feet for your shift working in hot and humid or cool and dry conditions at times.

Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or GED preferred.
· Ability to operate a forklift and have a current forklift certification also preferred.

*POSITION SUMMARY*

Maintain and repair processing equipment for Minnesota Dehydrated Vegetables, Inc.

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*

Performs generalized welding, electrical, plumbing and/or carpentry repairs or work orders as required.

Replaces and repairs gear boxes.

Replaces and builds drive pulleys and shafts.

Replaces and repairs conveyor belts.

Maintains and repairs cutting equipment.

Maintains and replaces bearings as needed.

Maintains and repairs pumps and piping.

Performs preventative maintenance as assigned by Maintenance Coordinator.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience is desired.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Other Requirements

Ability to use welder, forklift, skid steer, various hand tools and power tools, power washer, water hoses, and various types of processing equipment.

Full and part time positions available! 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am.

We currently have openings working with our finished product, duties include but are not limited to;

1. Ensuring the quality of outgoing product.

2. Using the forklifts.

3. Sanitizing, sweeping and building large cardboard boxes.

We also have openings working with our raw product and processing equipment, duties include;

1. Keeping the raw product moving through the system using water and conveyors.

2. Ensure a quality product.

3. Cleaning and Sanitizing the work area using hoses, pressure washers and sanitizing solution.
