New Products Have Arrived at the Farm Store

Just in time for Father’s Day and summer, we’ve added several new products to the store that we’re excited to share.

Introducing The Woodsmen — our new men’s whipped tallow balm. It has a masculine, woodsy scent while providing the same moisturizing and skin-nourishing benefits that our tallow products are known for. A perfect Father’s Day gift or everyday staple for the men in your life.

We’re also excited to introduce our new Tallow Sun Balm. Made with non-nano zinc oxide, it creates a physical barrier that helps block the sun’s rays without being absorbed into the skin. It comes in a convenient stick applicator, making it easy to apply whether you’re working outside, heading to the beach, or spending the day on the farm.

We also have several new candles in stock:

• Reusable glass jar candles that can be repurposed as drinking glasses once the candle is finished.
• New planter-style candles in beautiful planting pots that can be reused around your home or garden.
• Citronella candles to help keep those pesky summer mosquitoes away.

🐝 Exciting news from the farm! 🐝

We’ve officially welcomed honey bees to Maranatha Farms!

A huge thank you to Bee Happy Farms for making this possible. These little workers do far more than make honey. Bees are responsible for pollinating many of the crops, flowers, and plants that help our farm thrive. Their work increases yields, supports biodiversity, and helps create a healthier ecosystem across the farm.

As our gardens continue to expand, the bees will play an important role in producing everything from vegetables and herbs to flowers and healthy pastureland. It’s another step toward building a farm that works with nature, not against it.

We love that every part of the farm has a purpose. Our cattle, chickens, pigs, sheep, gardens, and now our bees all contribute to a healthier, more regenerative system.

And the best part? 🍯 Farm honey is coming very soon!

Fresh From the Farm This Week

Our garden is really starting to come alive and we’ve got a fresh batch of regeneratively grown vegetables now stocked in the farm store.

This week’s harvest includes:

Kale
Collard Greens
Napa Cabbage
Swiss Chard
Pac Choi
Fennel
Radishes

Grown right here on the farm with no sprays, no synthetic fertilizers, and raised the way God designed. Fresh harvests, rich flavor, and food you can feel good about feeding your family.

We’ll continue harvesting fresh every week with new vegetables coming throughout the season. Come see us at the farm store before this week’s harvest is gone.

Welcome to "Chicken Town".

So… what exactly is Chicken Town?

Over the past several months, we’ve been working on opening a USDA chicken processing facility right here in our community to support farms like ours raising pasture-raised birds the right way.

This has been a massive project behind the scenes and something we’ve poured an incredible amount of time, energy, and vision into. Our goal was simple:

Create a better processing option for small farms committed to raising clean, high-quality poultry with integrity.

Because the reality is, truly pasture-raised chicken is hard to scale locally when small farms have so few processing options available.

And now, after months of work…

Our chicken is officially restocked. 🐔

The chicken itself is the same pasture-raised chicken you already know and trust:
• Rotationally grazed on pasture
• Raised outdoors with fresh air and sunshine
• No antibiotics or vaccines
• No growth hormones
• Raised with intentional care from start to finish

But now, there’s a major upgrade…

Our chicken is now air chilled instead of water chilled.

Most grocery store chicken is chilled in large communal water tanks. Air chilling cools the birds individually with cold air instead, which means:
• Better flavor
• Crispier skin
• Better texture
• Higher meat-to-water ratio
• No extra retained water

It’s one of the reasons many chefs and premium poultry producers prefer air chilled chicken.

Now for the honest part…

You may notice the packaging looks a little different right now. As we train our new team and continue dialing everything in at the new facility, packaging is still a work in progress. Because of that, all chicken is currently 10% off.

The chicken itself, though, is the same high-quality chicken we’ve always been proud to raise - in many ways, even better.

This is a huge step forward not just for our farm, but for local food and the future of pasture-raised poultry in our community.
