🛑🛑🛑 We have a CHILD CARE CRISIS, and it’s one that deserves our immediate attention.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

The attached press release from Marion County First Steps outlines a significant reduction in child care scholarships available to local families. This agency alone is losing scholarships for 41 children in Marion County, a heartbreaking reality that will affect children, working parents, child care providers, and our local economy.

It simply doesn’t make sense to take child care assistance away from hardworking families who are striving to provide for their children. It also doesn’t make sense to remove young children from quality early learning environments where they begin building the literacy, social, emotional, and developmental skills that prepare them for success in school and in life.

My commitment to literacy has always been rooted in the belief that every child deserves a strong start. Reading begins with early learning, and early learning begins with opportunity. When we invest in our youngest learners, we invest in the future of our communities.

The dollars saved today could cost our communities much more tomorrow. 💰💰💰💸💸💸

I RESPECTFULLY ask everyone who is in a position to help...our elected officials, community leaders, businesses, partners, and advocates...to come together in support of these children and families. Working together, we can help ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, read, and thrive.

Farm 2 Store

I cannot say their name but they both will know who they are after reading this know they know who they are

Person one.....
Told me you smart but when you talk you talk about what you did without anyone help....i did not like that s**t but it made me think is that how i really sound cause those of you who know me know i am not like that but what you say has to match up
with who you are

Person two....
Told me that i as a smart person as well but i sometimes try to prove people wrong...if they say i cannot do it I would tell them and the world i can do it go out my way to show them all t....one of the hardest truth they told to me
Shut up and do it for 60 year old Tim Waters that was hard to sallow but i needed to hear that sometimes it not what being said that counts but it who is saying it

So this post was written with them in mind

Farm 2 Store

There was a man they counted out.
They said his store was closing.
They said he was finished.
They said he wouldn’t make it.

Some even celebrated the idea of his failure.
Some repeated lies they heard online.
Some spoke on his name without ever stepping foot in the building.

Some wanted the story to end before it ever truly began.
But while they were talking, he with the help and prayers of a lot of others

Did what they didn’t expect was this:

he with the help and prayers of a lot of others
wasn’t building alone.
Because while some people doubted him,
others believed in him.
While some people spread rumors,
others prayed over him.

While some people tried to tear him down,
others walked into that building and anointed it.
While some people waited for him to fall,

others stood beside him and lifted him up.
They didn’t know exactly what he with the help and prayers of a lot of others was creating

they just knew God had His hand on it.

And now, after everything he with the help and prayers of a lot of others survived,

after every rumor, every setback, every lonely night,
he’s rolling out something they never saw coming.

A system built with integrity.

A system built with structure.

A system built to last

A system built to be franchised from day one.

A system built so strong it can be copied but never duplicated.

The same people who once said “he’s done”
will soon see something they never imagined.
And the ones who believed —
the ones who prayed,
the ones who covered him,
the ones who stood in the empty building and spoke life over it —
they will see the harvest they helped protect.

and with the people who refused to let him quit.

But he kept building.
And now the world is about to see what happens
when a man with the help and prayers of a lot of others
refuses to fold
and a community refuses to let him fall.
