🚨 CRACKER JACK WATERMELONS ARE BACK!!! 🚨

First off, thank you all for being patient with us while we worked through this little growing gap.

We were supposed to switch over to our Georgia crop this week, but when the load came in they simply weren’t ready. They were too green for our standards, so we kicked them and brought in another load from Florida instead.

I spent some time cutting these today and I’m happy to report they’re a BIG improvement over the last load. These melons are SWEET AS CANDY! 🍉🍬

Now, I’m not going to tell you every single watermelon is going to be perfect. It’s brutally hot in Florida right now and Mother Nature is making growing conditions tough on everyone. But this load is definitely better and we’re feeling much more confident about them.

Cracker Jacks are back to $11.99 each and ready for your dinner table.

We’re hoping the fresh Georgia crop finishes ripening by the end of the week so we can get started on those soon. Once that happens, quality should take another jump forward.

As always, thank you for sticking with us. We work hard to bring in the best watermelons we can find, and when something isn’t right, we’re not afraid to tell you about it.

Do you ever drive by Richard’s Produce and wonder…

“Why in the world are there so many people at that little red ugly building?” 😂

I see the comments all the time.

The truth is, we work our tails off trying to bring you something different.

Most places are trying to sell you the same thing everyone else has.

We’re trying to find things you’ve never seen before.

One week it’s giant snow crab legs.

The next week it’s Cracker Jack watermelons.

Then it’s Amish tomatoes, fresh local peaches, local flowers, lucky charm marshmallows, fresh seafood, homemade canned goods, chocolate strawberries, Christmas trees, fall decorations, and about a thousand other things we’ve dreamed up.

We’re constantly hunting for the next thing that will make someone walk through the door and say…

“Wow, I’ve never seen that before.”

That’s what makes us different.

Lately, Facebook has allowed us to show people what we’ve been doing for years. More and more people are finally seeing why our parking lot is packed and why customers drive from all over just to shop here.

And yes…

Our parking lot is a disaster about 70% of the time. 😂

If you want an easier shopping experience, come early, come late, or come during the week.

I kinda say this a lot but….

These might be the BEST piece of fruit I have EVER eaten.

Not the best cherries.

Not the best fruit this year.

The best fruit. Period.

These Washington cherries are absolutely unreal. They are HUGE, dark red, unbelievably sweet, crisp, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every single one tastes like nature somehow figured out how to make candy grow on a tree.

I’ll be honest with you—they aren’t cheap.

They’re $6.99/lb.

But after eating them, I wouldn’t care if they were $10/lb.

That’s how good they are.

I brought them in because sometimes quality matters more than price, and these are in a completely different league than the average grocery store cherry.

If you’re the type of person who says, “A cherry is a cherry,” then you’ve never had cherries like these.

Come grab a pound, take them home, and tell me I’m wrong.

I don’t think you can.
