We want to know everything!
A lot of you have been asking about the $20K, the new trailer, and why our inventory isn't where we want it to be. It’s time to set the record straight. We aren't moving as fast as we planned because our growth was sabotaged.
The $20K we were scammed out of by Jose Rosas—owner of Choco-Latte Cafe and Bath-Hause here in Fall River—is still an ongoing fight. For the last two years, this man dodged court, thinking he could hide. It took a capias warrant and a sheriff to finally get him into a courtroom. And let me tell you, he moved real fast once the law was involved.
But when he finally showed up? No money. Just excuses. Claiming he never showed up to court because he feared for his life, right! Give me a break, everytime he saw my siblings and parents anywhere he smiles/laughs in our face trying to provoke my parents to acted out.
He tried to play the victim in front of the clerk, blaming us for his failed business and his personal life. We all know the truth: his cafe was evicted for nonpayment that’s why he had to relocate his cafe, and his marriage was already in trouble long before he scammed us. And telling them he’s now unhoused because of us. The clerk saw right through the act, telling him, "Mr. Rosas, we are not here to talk about anything else but the money you owe; there is already a judgment ordered."
The court still gave him time to do the right thing.
Friday, he had the nerve to offer $100 a month. That’s an insult, and it’s a hard NO from us.
Now, we wait for the next court date. It’s either pay up or face the consequences—and we all know what that sounds like: clack, clack.⛓️💥🚔
To the community: Consider this your warning. Watch out for scammers like Jose Rosas. And let’s be clear: stop using your deceased cousin’s name—a man who served this city as a firefighter—to manipulate police and firefighters for sympathy. That man deserves to rest in peace, not be used as a shield for your scams.
I’m not stopping until this is settled and the money is returned. I’ll keep you all updated as things move forward. Stay sharp.
