Well it's almost mid-October, and now we have all the varieties ready including 2 fan favorites our Aztec Fuji and Goldrush and our newest one that we have propagated called "Sweetie". Sweetie is a very sweet juicy apple with a burst of favor that is second to none. By far an apple people to love and the best part it holds well in the refrigerator for month similar to Gold Rush and Aztec fuji. Supply is limited so I wouldn't want.

Our featured variety for the 1st week of October is Winecrisp.

Winecrisp is one of the best storage apples. This apple cultivar was developed by the joint research efforts of Illinois, New Jersey, and Indiana universities.
Flavor: Crisp, rock hard, cream coloured flesh that has twangy hints of citrus to offset its sweetness.
Fruit: Skin with a deep purple red matte finish enhanced with a fine network of russeting.
Storage: Excess of 6 months.

We got some exciting news to share about our new variety in the orchard it's called Cameo. Cameo is a bright, red-striped apple with a creamy orange color; firm and crisp. It has a thin skin with a sweet/tart flavor, and makes a great fresh eating apple. You may even notice a hint of pear. Swing in and try this new and excited apple as well we still have following.
