What’s the secret to getting TONS of flowers??

It wouldn’t be a secret if we told you… but luckily we don’t like secrets 😉

There’s a few easy steps to keeping your plants happy and healthy. Start by picking something suited to your garden. Is it full sun, shade, or somewhere in between? Keep them watered, but check them before you do— they’ll want a drink when the top of the soil dries out. In the hot weather, this could be daily. Peak summer, it’s good to check at morning and night if you can. Lastly… food! Plants need to eat just like us. We have packs of fertilizer available, the same stuff we use here on the farm.

But, the truth is—plants are tough. And some are even tougher than others. Succulents and geraniums thrive on neglect. Begonias will be happy in the shade and reward you with plenty of beautiful flowers.

As for what’s blooming on the farm this week? Fuchsia, fresh bouquets, begonia, portulaca, and just about everything else in the greenhouse and farmstand. We got a head start for you, so they’re ready for your garden.

If gardening isn’t your thing, we’ve got home-grown bouquets back in stock. For the first time in 2026, we’re also offering a flower subscription, so you can get first-dibs on bouquets all summer long!

Our customers have been asking, and we’re happy to share that BOUQUETS ARE BACK! This time of year, we *might* only have them on weekends (but some weekdays, too!). Our stock is limited early in the season because our flowers are 100% homegrown.

From the dahlia tubers we harvest in the fall, and store all winter, to the irises that return each year. The annuals we start from seed, and fervently pluck out the weeds. We nurture them from spring to fall to share the colors with you all 🌻🌸💐

We’re open rain, wind, or shine, and here for you 10-6 on this blustery day. 10-4 Sunday & Monday (closed Tues) and 10-6 Weds-Sat.

Unpopular opinion…
We ❤️ rainy days. The farm feels so peaceful, and the plants are so happy! Plus, there’s always a rainbow when you’re surrounded by flowers
🌺🧡🌼🍀🦋🪻

We’re sad to hear that so many local parades have been cancelled because of the weather this weekend. If your family’s plans have changed, and you want to get “outside” while staying warm, our greenhouse is open for you to stop by and smell the flowers.

And don’t worry— all the pies, produce, beef, and yummy treats are safe in the farmstand, protected from the rain! We even have a few bouquets of mixed dahlias, irises, and wildflowers so you can bring some sunshine home with you.

We’re open 10-4 today and Monday, closed Tuesdays, and open 10-6 Wed-Sat.

Our plants are so big, we needed pies for scale 🥧🌱And YES… those are the large pies in the first and second pics! We’re heading into the long weekend with our fridges fully restocked. While we’ve sold out of a few plants, we have plenty of annuals, perennials, and hanging baskets left for your home and garden.

We’re open all weekend long: 10-6 Friday and Saturday, and 10-4 Sunday and Monday. Gearing up for a BBQ? We’ve got your back with grass-fed beef, pickles/sauces, and spices! See you soon 😊

Maryellen (our fearless leader and tractor queen) found a friend on the farm today 🐢❤️

Eastern Box Turtles have a beautiful black and yellow pattern across their domed shell. Their name comes from a hinge under their belly that they can pull shut when they retract into their shell, “boxing” themselves in to defend against predators. This time of year, many turtles are on the move as they migrate to reproduce and lay eggs.

You might be surprised at all the wildlife we see on the farm. Small farms help preserve open space, and provide a patchwork of habitats for a variety of species. While we’re more excited to see some animals than others (we’re still mad at the rabbits for munching our ranunculus last week 🐰🌻), we’re grateful to share this land with beautiful wildlife.
