Big news folks!!! The Mystery Maze at Morris Farm Exeter is about to open! We have been hard at work on this for months and cannot wait to welcome you to it. From tilling the land to growing the corn to designing the puzzles and characters you will find throughout the maze, this is a truly unique, local and homegrown Rhode Island experience! We are excited to debut the first combination, escape room, and maze in Rhode Island. Meet the characters, solve the puzzles throughout the maze, to unlock the final reward! We will also have a pumpkin patch, a mini maze for smaller children, which also contains a fun game, and other activities for kids and adults. We plan to open this weekend weather permitting. Watch our website at morrisfarm.net for ticket sales to open!

POETRY CORNER:
(Ahem) -
Warm weather is ending
Soon, we’ll be sad
When shipped in tomatoes are the ones to be had
They’ll smile grimly from shelves in their sleeves of foam mesh
But they won’t have the taste that they would if farm fresh
Heavy, juicy, tender and bright
But behold! You can still taste this flavor tonight!
At the farmstand, summer is still in swing
With tomatoes, corn, and delicious things
So swing on by before season shifts
And savor summer’s delicious gifts.

A reminder to reserve your place in our upcoming flower arranging classes! Spaces are filling up quickly! Sign ups can be done in the Farm stand or online at morrisfarm.net. Also, a picture of the flower of the week, dahlia “Bohemian Spartacus” with the bloom in the field and next to a sunflower for size reference! It was enormous and absolutely gorgeous! But not as big as the smile it will bring to the person it went home with today :)
