Erie’s Biscuit Day is one of Erie’s oldest community traditions, and it is such a special part of fall in this sweet town.
The tradition dates back to the 1890s and began as a seasonal send-off for coal miners returning to work. Today, Biscuit Day continues as a celebration of community, local history, and, of course, homemade biscuits and gravy.
This year, Stacy’s Kitchen and Lucile’s will be serving biscuits and gravy, and Bridge Refill Market will be helping celebrate with local vendors right in front of the shop.
