Christ Orchard Christ Orchard in Elmwood, IL is a family owned and operated Pick-Your-Own apple orchard and pumpkin He then bought the orchard in the mid 1980s.

Christ Orchard has been family owned and operated for nearly 30 years. The Midland Coal Company planted the orchard in the 1970s and asked the Elmwood FFA to manage it. Kurt Christ was integrally involved in the operation and upon graduation he began renting the orchard from the coal company. The orchard has grown to include not only U-Pick apples, but also U-Pick pumpkins, fresh pressed apple cider, fall decorations, mums, fruit preserves and much more.

Today is the last Saturday for u-pick apples. We will finish up picking by early next week. We will have plenty of fresh apples in the Shed through 11/28.

U-Pick Pumpkins are open through 10/31. Any pumpkin from the patch is $4. Pre-picked pumpkins are $5-$7 each.

U-Pick closes at dark (around 6:00pm).

October Hours: Monday through Saturday
8am to 8pm. Closed Sunday.

In the SHED: Evercrisp, Jonagold, Yellow Delicious, Chieftain, Cameo, Jonathan, Mutsu, Arkansas Black, Cortland, McIntosh, Fuji, CandyCrisp, Pink Lady, Granny Smith, Gold Rush, Red Delicious, fresh apple c***r, c***r slushies and more!

This late-season, sweet, and super crunchy apple is worth waiting for! A Fuji x Honeycrisp cross, Evercrisp is quickly becoming one of our most popular varieties!

Here’s the list of everything currently available:
