Despite tomorrow’s rainy forecast, we’ll be here! Last year's Opening Day brought plenty of rain, but that didn't stop Mayor Levin and State Rep Marti Deuter from stopping by with smiles.

Rain or shine, our wonderful vendors always show up for the Elmhurst community. They've been baking, harvesting, and preparing all week for our market day—and your support means even more when the weather doesn't cooperate.

Grab a can of Gigawatt cold brew, enjoy some bacon, egg & cheese breakfast empanadas from Grumpy Gaucho Food Truck, then stock your pantry with the essentials; fresh salsa & chips from Sabor a Mexico, olive products from Spartan Gourmet Foods, and more! What a wonderful start to our 2026 season! More than 2,500 shoppers spent the morning enjoying breakfast and lunch, catching up with old friends, reconnecting with favorite vendors, and discovering new products throughout the market.

Shoppers filled their bags with creamy-aged cheeses from The Cheese People, pasture-raised meats from Jake's Country Meats, and fresh-baked goods from ButterCrumb Bakery, Katich Breads, and more. And the line at Nichols Farm and Orchard stretched down the midway as customers stocked up on their favorite fruits and vegetables!

If you missed Opening Day, don't worry—we'll be open next Wednesday from 7am-1pm with your favorite vendors and live music from The Snuffy Brothers.

TOMORROW'S THE DAY! June 3 is Opening Day for Elmhurst Farmers Market and the weather looks perfect to stroll the market, grab breakfast or lunch, and stock up on the freshest, locally grown vegetables, fruits, herbs, microgreens, and flowers.

You’ll also find an array of pastries, breads, local honey, olives, fresh salsa, focaccias, eggs, meats, cheeses, jam, spices, eggrolls, handmade pasta, raw honey ice cream, kettle corn, and crunchy cheese. And desserts galore!

With more than 40 vendors, now's the time to plan your visit:

Live music performed by Plank Road Folk Music Society begins at 10:30am. Come enjoy the sounds, smells and tastes such as: donuts, crepes, bagel sandwiches, breakfast burritos, pizza, Italian sausage, pulled pork, BBQ, empanadas, tamales, and more.
