🐝 BEEKEEPER COURSE – Saturday July 11, 2026 🐝
Have you ever wanted to keep honey bees or learn how a honey bee colony works? Join me for a hands-on beginner beekeeping course designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to start your own hive.

⏱ Duration: 5-6 Hours
💲 Cost: $45 per person (Only 10 slots available)
This course includes classroom learning and live hive experience (weather permitting) so you can see beekeeping in action. Time allowing, you will also get to complete your own hive inspection with supervision.
🐝 What You’ll Learn
Indoor Session (About 2 Hours):
Honey bee biology and colony structure
Parts of a Langstroth hive
Essential beekeeping equipment
Installing bees (packages & nucs)
Seasonal hive basics
Introduction to varroa mite management
Hands-On Apiary Session (About 2–3 Hours):
How to light and use a smoker
How to safely open and inspect a hive
Identifying eggs, brood, honey, pollen, worker bees, drones, and the queen
Handling frames and working bees calmly
What a healthy hive looks like
This class is perfect for brand new beekeepers, future beekeepers, or anyone curious about honey bees.
