Signs of Fall fishing wrapping up....⚓️🐟💙🌊

Will brought our workhorse home to Sand Bay from down south after a final lift and closing up our last trap net(s) in the Bay...certainly bittersweet, but we are so grateful for this season those waters provided us...it was successful, and we are so very thankful.

The Roamer will do the heavy lifting for the next few days Lakeside, until we call it on Saturday for the season.

Our hard-working fishermen and team are simply the best, and we couldn't do any of this without them.🙏

Hi friends! Here are our early November hours, with plans to extend them the week of Thanksgiving, and perhaps onward into Christmas!
We are changing them up a bit, instead of Mondays (which, due to winter fishing, fresh whitefish was usually later afternoon...annnnd just to give our staff a few solid days off in a row for a few months after working so hard all season) we are going to be open TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS-SATURDAYS 11-4pm! (CLOSED SUNDAY, MONDAY & WEDNESDAY)
We will let feedback and foot traffic determine if they change, stay the same or.....but be rest assured, we'll be open for you, 4 days a week! (plus extra around holidays!)
Big reminder that this is the last week for fresh whitefish thru November! Don't miss out!

🌟🌟ALSO!!! FRESH, golden whitefish caviar available later this week! Stay tuned!🌟🌟

Open today thru Saturday 11-5, and we will start our Late Fall hours next week on Tuesday.

Our hard-working fishermen put in a full plus day yesterday, lifting nets lakeside with a wonderful haul.

We are down to our last week of fall fishing!

This came across my personal feed organically yesterday, and I took it as sign to share once again.😊💙🐟⚓️

It is a snippet of a larger video from Destination Door County/Peninsula Film Works, I believe from 2017, and it truly encompasses where our fisherman's day begins before our fresh whitefish gets to the restaurants and smokehouses, and our shop.🐟

We've had some wonderful & amazing exposure from the Christmas Movie last year, so some may not know exactly know how we fish, or who we are...so Hi! 😃 I'm Kristie. Married to the 2nd Generation commercial fisherman Will. I manage the social media aspect of the business typically, and also manage The Fish House and set up at Farmer's Markets!✌️

This is my father-in-law Charlie who started Henriksen Fisheries in 1987. It's amazing to think we are on the cusp of our 40th year and so much to be thankful for.

Our hard-working fishermen were out there lakeside yesterday, lifting a few nets, and setting some too...which, gives us FRESH, boneless whitefish fillets today!🐟

After a rough weather start, Fall Fest looks like a wonderful success, thank you to all that participated, visited, and our hard-working hospitality friends who make it all go round....you all are rockstars! 😎🤘

We were hoping to have a float in the parade, (looked like so much fun!😃) but we'll try for next year!

For today, get yer Fall Fest Soap Derby hats on and after, swing by and get Game Day, and Sunday Funday ready! 💚💛
