Join us tomorrow from 10am-2pm to meet some of our wonderful dogs available for adoption! We are teaming up with Huckleberry Hound Dog Rescue of El Paso, so there will be twice the dogs to fall in love with! Come out and enjoy the day with us, grab some good food, support local businesses, and meet your new best friend! We will even have a fun giveaway for you 🫶 We can't wait to see you there! 🐶❤️

We've had so many new faces stopping by the farm stand lately, so we wanted to share a quick guide on how everything works!

🐓 Our stand is completely self serve.

🥛 Eggs & milk are always first come, first served. What is out there is all we currently have available.

🧁 Baked goods & handcrafted items can be ordered ahead for pickup through our website: www.desertoasisfarmstead.org

🕚 Farm Stand Hours: Wednesdays & Sundays 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM (or until sold out). Because our farm stand is outdoors, we may close early during periods of high winds, rain, or other precipitation for the safety of our products and customers.

💵 We accept cash, CashApp, and Venmo.

We are so thankful for every single person who supports our small farm and family. Whether you stop by every week or are just discovering us for the first time, welcome!

We have several absolute sweethearts looking for their forever homes! ❤️🐾 Every one of these dogs was abandoned on the streets and given a second chance through our rescue. They’ve now received their vetting and are ready to find the loving families they deserve.

We have a microchip scanner available now!

If you’ve found a stray dog, cat, or other companion animal, we’re happy to help scan for a microchip at no cost. Please message us to set up a time! We are located in Far East El Paso in the Montana Vista area.

Microchipping is one of the best ways to reunite lost pets with their families. It’s permanent, can’t fall off like a collar, and greatly increases the chance of a safe return home.

Let’s help get the lost pets back home!

Happy Mother’s Day from the Farmstead!

Mothers are at the heart of everything we do here. They are the reason we have fresh milk each day, the reason new generations of egg layers are born, and the quiet force behind so much life, growth, and care.

One of the greatest gifts of farm life is getting to witness motherhood in so many forms. It is beautiful in every species.

We have so much respect for the hard work our farm mamas do every day. The nurturing, protecting, teaching, and providing is constant, and we are grateful for it all.

Today we celebrate all the incredible mothers, human and animal alike. 🤍

Another sweet dog brought in off the streets. This young basset hound was found in Socorro with no microchip and is currently on a 3-day stray hold with us here at Desert Oasis Rescue and Sanctuary while we attempt to locate his owners.

His kind finders have been caring for him for the past 3 weeks, so this boy has likely been away from home for quite some time. Despite everything he’s been through already in his young life, he is incredibly sweet and soaking up every bit of love and comfort he can get.
