The Annex We serve prepared foods made with the same organic ingredients we sell in our stores. We have a hand-picked selection of artisan wines and craft beers.

The Natural Grocery Company Prepared Food Annex is an employee-owned market preparing wholesome, organic meals and sides. Soups, sandwiches, vegetarian dishes, vegan options, organic, fair-trade coffee, pastries, cakes and more. Our focus is on organic, Non-GMO, Fair Trade, sustainable foods and beverages. We favor companies who are powered by renewable energy whenever possible.

For the past 11 years, Oakland-based LoCura has crafted their own unique musical identity: "Califas Mestizo Music," a blend of Latin American and Iberian rhythms such as rumba, cumbia, salsa and flamenco influenced by punk rock, ska, rap, dub, reggae, dancehall with local and global lyrical themes. The band's name ("it cures it") reflects their ethos of making music a remedy, a theme which permeates lyrics such as "la cultura cura la locura (culture cures the madness).”

Javier Navarrette curates shows with various artists from different cultures in the Bay Area, as well as presenting his own global music projects at “Modupue Wednesdays”

With a striking view of Mt. Lassen, Manton, CA is in many ways the ideal location to grow apples, but commercial apple production in this area all but died out decades ago. But Lassen C***rs found Mitch Shandley who is not only keeping an historic orchard alive, but he also planted some other great c***r apples too! The Manton blend contains Golden Russets, Porter’s Perfection and Hudson’s Golden Gem apples, for bittersharp earthiness, with nutty, tropical, and pear-like aromas.

Original compositions and arrangements of jazz, rock, and classical tunes with prominent jazz violinist Christian Howes.

Originating as a chamber music jam session at Revolution Cafe in SF's Mission District, the rotating collective of adventurous musicians has performed in such noted Bay Area venues as the deYoung Museum, Great American Music Hall, Freight & Salvage, and The Fillmore.

In the spirit of inclusivity, Classical Revolution has provided a stage for well over one thousand musicians in more than two thousand performance events in the Bay Area alone, almost all of which having been presented with free admission in the effort to bring wider appreciation to classical chamber music.

We are fortunate to be able to have them back at The Annex!
