Customer appreciation letter
West Foods has been in business for over 57 years which is almost unheard of for an independent grocery store. For the last 31 years I have managed or owned West Foods. I literally grew up in this grocery store and started working here at the age of 13. I started managing the store when I was only 21 and about to get married. Now after 31 years of marriage and 31 years in the grocery business it is time to do something a little different. The grocery business has been a fun & rewarding business to my family and employees. It has been at the center of the community during a natural disaster and pandemics. We have served and helped a lot of customers over the years. I have enjoyed serving the community and having the opportunity to have employed so many people in the community. It has been a pleasure to have had the opportunity to employee more young people than I can count and having a small hand in developing them into the productive adults they have become today. I appreciate my staff over the years, which without them, we would not have been as succesful. Most importantly I appreciate our customers which is how we at West Foods have made a living for many years. I wish the new owners much success in the future and I appreciate the support I know our customers and community will give them.
