⭐️ Opening day lineup!

🌱 Remember, our farmers’ market is locally produced — different crops are ready at different times of the year! Today I’m expecting to see spinach, some veggies (Miller’s is usually pretty good at getting his veggies, potatoes, and tomatoes in pretty early), and possibly some blueberries, but those will be abundant in the next couple weeks! As always: meats, milk, eggs, breads, sweet baked goods, honey, jams/jellies, soaps, flowers, candles, donuts!!!

Swiss Chard Tzatziki Dip

Haffey Family Farm
1 Bunch Swiss Chard, Ribs Removed
1 Bunch Garlic Scapes, Finely Chopped (enough for 1 tablespoon)

Olive & Marlowe
1 Tablespoon Roasted Garlic Olive Oil

Pond Hill Farm
Fresh Mint Leaves - 1 tablespoon chopped

Pleasant Lane Creamery
1 Container Feta Crumbles

Pitaland
1 Package Fresh Pita Bread

Seasonings and Condiments
Salt and Pepper, to Taste
2 cups Plain Greek Yogurt
1 tablspoon Lemon Juic
Blanch Swiss chard in boiling water for 3 minutes.

Transfer to an ice bath and cool completely.

Squeeze out excess moisture and chop finely.

Combine chard, mint, garlic scapes, olive oil, salt, and lemon juice.

Chill before serving.

Top with feta and enjoy with fresh pita bread! Serve next to grilled Greek chicken from Bittner Farm .
