Never thought i would think to myself that I wish I had some fresh mushrooms to cook up🤣. I suppose I could drive down the road to the grocery store, but I prefer to stay away from GMO's grown in p**p .
Been pulling some very long shifts at the new job. I did 13.5 hrs last nite covering my shift in half a third shift for the supervisor on vacation. tonight will probably be the same. I've been doing at least 10 hours every day since I went back four weeks ago.

I just wanted to say once again thank all of you for all of the help, donations, moral support, and kind words over the past months. I never figured I would step foot in a plastic factory ever again. Life is funny that way.
It's been really weird getting used to having to rely on others for guidance again and take direction from others. Another thing I've learned this week is that I definitely do not have time or energy for pets at this point in my life lol. I agreed to House and pet sit These guys for a week. They are in high energy mode from about 4:30 -5 o'clock in the morning until about 7:30 in the morning, which is right about the time, I'm normally hitting my best sleep. I gave up on that this morning and decided the steak sounded more feesable 🙂.

We weren’t sure if this would happen this year with the loss of our greenhouse and then the losses of our two make shift greenhouses. But has been hard at work growing what she can in the house, and these plants are ready for new homes!

God, I've missed this sound. Just wanted to say thank you all for all the happy birthday wishes.
Also a massive thank you for the kindness, compassion, and understanding i have received from many for some time now. It has been a rough last few years. Looking forward to some better times ahead.
I am back working in plastics again, after over a decade out of the industry. Remembering all those old skills and picking up new ones with all the different machines, equipment, materials, has been very challenging. Also very rewarding to know i can pick up on something i did so long ago with little training or guidance.
5 years of working alone the vast majority of the time and now being in a lead role again, in a building full of others i have to support and direct, give others instruction on things i don't even nessasarily know... its been really challenging, but it also feels good. Hard to explain. Just feels good to do something and see some positive results again, and also see some reward out of it other than just personal satisfaction. Definitely given me some perspective on life and what success really is. It's not necessarily always about the money, but if your killing yourself doing what you love(d), and all you do is fall deeper into debt doing it. vs working a hob you may not love, but you can find some sort of personal satisfaction and make enough to live.. it's messed up that we live in a world like this, but unfortunately, it seems to be the way things are currently.
Its also nice being around people again, but I feel like I lost some of my peopling skills 🤔🤣.
I have always been an introvert. Years of working alone just amplified those traits. I wanna say sorry if I am standoffish or seem as if i don't want to talk. To many negative things ans lack of prosperity over a very long time left me with little positive things to talk about or unable to see them. Seem/s(ed) better to be silent than spread negativity and woes.  even posting this, kind of feels like I'm doing that. But I just want tou all to know where I'm coming from rather than be interpreted otherwise.
Anyway, i am looking forward to better things to come and some freedom again. Getting out and re-finding the things that bring joy.
