🍓From Field to Basket: What to Expect in the Strawberry Patch🍓

Strawberry size, flavor, and overall yield vary based on several natural factors. To provide the best possible picking experience, we plant multiple strawberry varieties and replant approximately 2–3 acres of fields each year. This approach helps stagger ripening times so berries are not all ready at once, reducing the risk of spoilage.
When you arrive for U-pick, the field and variety you are directed to will depend on current crowd levels and field conditions. For this reason, we are unable to guarantee access to a specific field or variety.
Field and berry quality are heavily influenced by spring weather and soil conditions. Farming is guided by nature, and each season brings its own unique challenges and rewards. Some years offer abundant, beautiful berries across many fields, while in other seasons, only select areas produce at their best. In some cases, frost or cold weather may significantly impact the crop.
Even when certain fields may not appear ideal, the berries can still be flavorful, and we make every effort to ensure that quality fruit is not wasted.
While we would love to guarantee large berries and high yields in every field, agriculture is inherently unpredictable. We truly appreciate your understanding and support as our small family farm works hard to provide the best possible experience for all of our guests.
