dear patrons,
first of all I apologize for transitional problems, due to bank delay release of funds, I guarantee , lawyer general store will never be closed again.
Let me introduce my self as a proud owner of lawyer general store. I am us citizen since 1980, am blessed with two grandchildren, one 3 yr and other 4 month old, and a loving but strict wife.
professionally I am in retail business since 2001. I own tow gas stations in area, mobil station in Windham, and Sunoco on 9w in Athens ny.
in a franchise world of cookie cutter stores, LAWYER GENERAL STORE is a rare gem, and I intend to keep it same.
I am trying to bring back old employees as many as I can.
My nephew will operate it day to day, and its our intention to assimilate in the community, be part of it, and serve community to best of our ability. My nephew will be staying above the store so he will be part of community.

As some of you may know, Lawyer’s will soon be under new ownership. After 7 1/2 years, it’s time for me to pass the torch.

The store will be closing at the end of business on Sunday, November 27th, before transitioning to the new owner.

Thank you for all the support over all these years. It’s meant so much to me to be a part of the East Durham community.
