Thanks again, to all that visited us this weekend. We sold all 8 loaves of our sourdough. (For small batch food producers, that means a lot.) We need to make more hot sauce and jam!

In May, we are going to be open a few more weekends than our normal Friday/Saturday, two weekends a month.

For May, we will be open šŸ—“ļø (weather permitting):
Saturday, 5/2, Friday 5/8 & Saturday 5/9, Saturday, 5/16, Friday 5/22 & Saturday 5/23, and Saturday 5/30. Remember, if our signs are out, we are open.šŸŖ§

For May 2nd we will make 4 loaves of fresh sourdough and some of our homemade Coconut, Pecan, Chocolate Chip Cookies (a customer favorite).ā™„ļø

Iā€™ll post Juneā€™s hours as we get closer to June. My goal is to make some of my homemade marshmallows toward the end of June, in time for July 4th.šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø Iā€™m also entertaining making Sā€™more cookie bites.šŸ¤”

Thanks to all that visited us today, and all that THOUGHT about visiting us today! We will be open tomorrow, 4/25, 9AM - 2PM.

We have 4 loaves of sourdough left. Two Rosemary & (roasted) Garlic (great with an Italian dinner), one Cowboy Crack & Cheddar (previously known as Cowboy Candy & Cheddar until that name Cowboy Candy got Trademarked in TX), and one Everything Bagel (great toasted and slathered with cream cheese for breakfast).šŸ˜‹

Please note: The bread we donā€™t sell, we must eat. (Iā€™m thinking spaghetti could be our future! Prove me wrong! šŸ¤”)

We have some pretty nest run EGGS, $5/dozen.

We sold out of Yippie Ki Yay hot sauce and only have 2 Not the Holy Ghost hot sauce left. We still have other favorites available, and yes, we will be making more hot sauce in the future.

What makes our Sourdough different?

Our AZ cottage food registration requires we put the following label on our food: ā€œThis product was produced in a home kitchen that may come in contact with common food allergens and pet allergens and is not subject to public health inspection.ā€

That means we do not use/have a ā€œcommercial/professionalā€ kitchen. IE: Our home is not inspected by public health, but it is inspected by me (JoElla) and Iā€™m very detailed when it comes to cleanliness.šŸ˜³

Anyway, this also means we are small batch food producers, that can create UNIQUE food items that are NOT mass commercially produced. Each small batch we create can vary in flavor because we donā€™t modify/enhance our recipes to make each batch taste the same.šŸ¤”

We primarily buy/use organic ingredients to make our sourdough, but we cannot claim we are organic because the certification process is expensive.

We get a couple reoccurring question: Who are we and how can you find us???

We are a small, family & dog friendly, home based business located in Eagar, AZ that operates with limited hours. Typically we are open a couple weekends a month on a consecutive Friday & Saturday. Our goal is to build relationships with our customers, and offer a welcoming environment. We will be open this weekend, Friday & Saturday, 4/24 & 25, 9AM - 2PM. We will have plant starts, some sour dough bread, EGGS, as well as our usual products for sale.

And roasting FRESH coffee beans.ā˜•ļø

Iā€™ve been working hard to switch over to our LLC so we have our books ready for this weekend. Jonā€™s been working on upgrading the front of our shoppe. Heā€™s replacing the wood covering with corrugated metal and getting the pavers in place. Iā€™m super excited about this change!

Sometimes I just gotta remodel/redecorate because being the Relentless Redecorator is my mantra. Itā€™s also my therapy!!!

Iā€™ve been wanting a pot filler for some time. Especially now that we can so much for our Rustic Country Market & Farmstand. I also want a whole house water filter, even though we already installed an RO filter for our kitchen sink & frig. The RO doesnā€™t help with the rest of the water in the house. (We have hard ā€œtownā€ well water that is treated with chlorine.)

This is my 2026 birthday present. Iā€™ll post after pics when itā€™s done.

By the way, thereā€™s water lines on the other side of the wall behind the stove. WIN-WIN! šŸ˜

Life is busy and full of emotionsā€¦

Iā€™ve been converting our Rustic Country Market to an LLC and we spent quality time with our oldest grandson before he ships out for the U.S. Army boot camp. It was also my birthday week.

We will be open this weekend, Friday 4/10 & Saturday 4/11, 9AM - 2PM. We will have fresh sour dough bread, nest run eggs ($5/dozen); and our usual sauces and crafts. We will also be roasting fresh coffee beans to order.

Look for our signs & market flag. (Our next opening is 4/24 & 4/25.)
