A heartfelt note from Marigold. 💛

After a lot of thought and soul-searching, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Marigold Marketplace.

But don’t panic—this isn’t goodbye just yet! I’m still working through the details and timeline, and I’ll be sharing more information soon. I promise to give you plenty of notice before we close.

Three years ago, I opened this little country market with a big dream. What I didn’t realize was how many wonderful people—and friendships—would become part of the story.

Marigold has been so much more than a store. It has been a place to celebrate local farmers, bakers, makers, and food producers, and a place where I’ve had the privilege of getting to know so many of you.

I am incredibly proud of what we’ve created together in Durham, and so very grateful for your support, your friendship, and the part you’ve played in this little dream.

I’ll keep you posted as plans come together. For now, thank you. Truly. 💛 Please continue to shop with us over the next few weeks - everything must go! Even the decorations and refrigerators!

Marigold Marketplace is also currently for sale. If you’re interested in learning more, or know someone who might be, please call me at 805-570-3588
