We are pleased to have the UNH Center for Sustainable Seafood Systems at our Durham Farmers’ Market this season!

Their mission is to apply sound science and engineering practices to seafood production in ways that:
• Provide educational opportunities and skills to future workforces
• Innovate seafood technologies and practices through interdisciplinary research
• Collaborate with industry and other partners to promote responsible seafood
• Communicate their findings to benefit communities, the environment, and society
At the Durham Farmers’ Market, you can purchase their delicious, responsibly grown and custom-smoked steelhead trout, which is raised offshore alongside blue mussels and sugar kelp at their multi-trophic aquaculture training platform.

🍂End of Season Market Hours🍂
As we head into October, a couple of our Summer Farmers’ Markets will have adjusted hours as we wrap up the season!
The Dover Farmers’ Market will now be open from 3:30–6pm. Also, the Exeter Farmers’ Market hours will be changing to 2:30–5:30pm starting October 1.

2026 Market Closing Dates:
Durham: October 5
Dover: October 7
Exeter: October 29
Portsmouth: October 31

There’s still plenty of local food to shop for before the season comes to a close. Mark your calendars and make the most of these final weeks at the market!

Tantine Mime’s Gourmet makes artisan antipasto using family recipes that have been passed down through generations!

After two years of attending farmers’ markets, Tantine Mime’s Gourmet says one of the best parts of being at the markets is meeting the people who stop by to try her products. Her best selling products are the eggplant antipasto and mushroom antipasto, both made with ingredients sourced from local farmers.

There are still a few opportunities left to shop at the Durham Farmers’ Market! Shop the market this Monday, Sept 21 from 2:30-6:00 PM at the M&T Bank Parking Lot. We will have the talented Roses and Thorns performing live music while you shop from your local farmers and food producers!
Help us finish the season off strong over the next few weeks. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are always welcome so bring your furry friends along!

There’s no missing the bright pink tent at the market, and if you’ve stopped by, there’s a good chance you’ve met Alice from Geekamuffins! Alice has been attending farmers’ markets for three years and is drawn to the community at the market, especially the connections she’s made with fellow vendors.

Her booth is packed with XL fudge brownies, brown butter oatmeal cream pies, rotating cupcake flavors, and, of course, the English muffins that have become her most popular item.

Want to see what Alice is up to when she’s not baking? Follow along with Geekamuffins on Instagram, where she shares a peek at life outside the kitchen, along with plenty of her delicious creations. Then stop by her booth in Durham, Dover, or Exeter and try one for yourself!

Back to school season may be here but the summer harvest is still going strong at the Durham Farmers' Market. Stop by this Monday, August 31 from 2:30–6pm to shop local.

The Durham Farmers’ Market will be closed on Labor Day, Sept. 7, so be sure to stock up on all your favorites this week.

This week, be sure to stop by Ma Gooze's Jam for locally made jams. You’ll also find fresh produce, locally raised meats, baked goods, and plenty more from your local farmers and food producers.
