Meet our new Market Days Manager and come say hi at the info booth! 👋🏼

I stopped by the Durango Farmers Market tent and asked Jamie if I could photograph her hard at work, and she said sure. I believe she indicated that she was the Manager of Marketing. This I know: the Durango Farmers Market is a well-organized machine. The staff works very hard to create a wonderful and safe outdoor shopping experience. I especially enjoy the musicians that they book, along with all the very talented artisans. The market is truly a must-visit if you live anywhere near Durango.

Opening day for the Durango Farmers Market is a big deal in and around the town of Durango, Colorado. People from all over the area visit the market because it's more than a market, it's an experience. As I walked through the market with my camera, I noticed the smell of coffee, baked goods, and vibrant colors of produce. I could hear beautiful piano music at one end of the market and amazing Bluegrass Music at the other end of the market. There were several displays of beautiful flowers, handmade jewelry, and clothing, along with so much more. It was simply the place to be last Saturday morning, and I hope you were there. If not, be sure to experience the Durango Farmers Market next week.

I know the wonderful couple that owns and operates Them Cakes, Dough Bakery & Catering. I met them last year at the Bayfield Farmers Market, and again this year at the Durango Farmers Market. Their baked goods are sooo delicious. If you get a chance, please check them out. I promise you will not be disappointed. (The owner, Kiersten, is pictured in this photo. We will be back at the TBK Bank lot tomorrow for the ! We will be bringing a ton of delicious fresh mushrooms & mushroom goodies like our fan favorite tinctures, umami seasoning, & mushroom grow kits💓✨
Come stock up for the week, ask us all your mushroom questions, and say hi! We love seeing familiar faces and meeting new folks every market 💚🍄‍🟫✨

Opening Day on Main was something special. Durango, you SHOWED UP.

Thank you to every customer, vendor, volunteer, musician, downtown business, sponsor, and community member who packed Main Ave with so much energy, support, and joy. Seeing thousands of people shopping local, dancing in the streets, grabbing breakfast, cheering on Let Them Cook!, and filling downtown with life reminded us exactly why we do this.

We’ll be back at our regular Saturday market at TBK this weekend, then return to Main Ave for our next 2nd Saturday on Main on June 12th.

Until then, keep showing up for local farmers, ranchers, makers, musicians, and small businesses. We grow community. 🌱
