Oh! CARROT CAKE JAM, we have missed you!!
We be jammin’ today!
These beauties are headed to the stand for next Saturday November 7th reopening, and will be showcased in the jam cabinets!
I think we’ll sample this one too!
This recipe has us drooling over the ingredients of matchstick carrots, crushed pineapple, grated apple, brown sugar, all the warm spices, chopped walnuts and coconut!!
I just had it as a canapé on a seeded cracker with cream cheese and it was amazing!
It is also a wonderful accompaniment to Ginger Snaps, or as a topping on pound cake or ice cream!

Oh my!!
Another taste test of Sourdough Bread today!!
I think this could be the winner of all, and we’re only on day 2!!
CRANBERRY ORANGE WALNUT Sourdough Bread!!
I’m loving batting ideas to Ella of &Farm Farm Stand and she running with it!
So happy to say we are definitely stocking these for our grand opening Saturday November 7!!
So delicious this afternoon toasted and buttered!

We’re working on great artisan provisions for the stand these next couple of weeks and having fun with taste tests!
Excited to be collaborating with sweet Ella from Field&Farm farm stand in Morriston with some exclusive fresh baked sourdough bread varieties and baked goods.
Today we were pleased with the KALAMATA OLIVE ROSEMARY LEMON Sourdough Bread!!
Yummy and flavorful!!
Be on the lookout as we continue to share what we’ll be stocking at the stand and promoting the makers!

Hey y’all! I have stopped twice this week by this sweet farm stand in Morriston! I even met the precious maker/baker Ella!
I picked up her Sourdough Bagels, Brownies and Sourdough Everything Bagel Chips!
ALL were amazing!

Pre-ordered Hummingbird Breads are out for porch pick up this morning!
Pretty soon we’ll be back at the stand with them daily!
It’s a great day to have a great day!

I opened The Farmer’s Daughter, an olde fashioned gourmet gift shop and gift basket business, in Dunnellon, 38 years ago!
With 2 preschoolers by my side, I was determined to offer whole bean coffee fresh ground, specialty jams, baked goods and custom gift baskets available right in Dunnellon!
It was 1988, no computer/online convenience research or ordering.
Below is a little peak of one section of the shop that was located across from The Dinner Bell Restaurant in an old service station that we transformed a bit.
Not much has changed except that The Farm Stand at Blue Ribbon Farm and Feed prides itself on stocking all locally sourced artisan provisions.
Jamming as we speak (read) to get ready to open later this fall!

STRAWBERRY FIG JAM!
We’re thrilled to have this jam available at the stand this fall!
This small hand canned artisan jam is made with the freshest minimum ingredients for that true flavor taste of days gone by.
This combination of fresh strawberries and figs makes wonderful canapés with cream cheese or brie and crackers, or as a topping for cheesecake, pound cake and ice cream. It’s also wonderful spread on toast or bagels in the morning.
