Patrick came flying into the rescue today and is there to help anyone and everyone with their olive oil and balsamic vinegar needs.
Fun facts from yesterday:
*People love hug doug, the spoon holder
*Cucumber melon balsamic and blood oramge olive oil are really good together. It's layered flavor
*Some people are sick of re-usable bags and like to use boxes and we have extra boxes
*People started holiday shopping
*look up Harvest salad and use the Cranberry pear balsamic on it

Sometimes Customers ask my opinion of flavor combos and I know the answer right away and other times we have to put them both in a tasting cup and give it a try.
Blood orange olive oil and Cucumber melon balsamic vinegar for the win!
This is going to be a holiday favorite.

Customers keep getting the flavored white balsamic vinegars for their sparking water. This has been a thing for years but with all the talk of shrubs it is more than ever.
I am currently treating myself to a carbonated water and strawberry balsamic vinegar more often than not and it's delicious.

New day, new conversations, new observations.

What if every day felt like a festival?
So hear me out, as a small store it feels lively. People are laughing, shopping, enjoying one another's company and we are there to assist putting out bread for samples, filling bottles, answering questions and keeping things flowing.
I love to hear how people want to use the different oils, vinegars, honey and sauces and for us to work together as a team at the store (photo tomorrow). It was 4 of us today and one of them was my oldest son.
I am inspired and grateful to see the young adults working with me grow into leaders at the store.
Today we didn't get store pics but tomorrow we will...Patrick, Sarah and Joey:)

If you aren't looking for a 9-5 type job or you are between jobs then this might be a good fit.
Weekends or alternating weekends are a must.
You must be available at least 2 shifts a week and work those shifts.
We have longer hours for the holidays and expect more hours to be picked up then making it easy to work 30 plus hours during Nov and Dec

Dill pickle mustard is back at the store! Did anyone ever tell you it's amazing in tuna fish?
Easy snack or lunch is making crostini ( stale bread, deizzle oil and salt and pepper) and bake until golden crisp.
Add tuna as a protein packed topping.

Bee pollen has health benefits which may or may not be effective depending on your beliefs or who you talk to but people use it for allergies, inflammation, mood, pms and much more depending on what you read and research.
It has antioxidants!
I used a tea infuser and had it in warm water but there seems to be different ways to eat it like in smoothies and yogurt. It suggests not to cook it at high temps as it will lessen the nutrients which is the same as most foods.
