Our vendor spotlight this week is Nice or Naughty Baked Goods, LLC! This is Kristen's 6th year as a vendor at the Dexter Farmers Market.

"With the rise of gluten sensitivities (including friends in her circle) Kristen formulated Nice or Naughty Baked Goods in 2018. All of Nice or Naughty products are Gluten Free (we provide Dairy Free & Vegan options as well.) We have an extensive menu including: cookies, muffins, scones, granola bars, crackers, bagels, focaccia, burger buns (look for these to make their reappearance on 4th of July), sandwich loaf bread, etc. We are always adding new items to the menu, so you'll never get bored!

We always support local & fresh first when supplying our ingredients, including: raw honey, maple syrup, eggs, and produce. This month we're showcasing Michigan strawberries with various scones, muffins, and quick bread flavors.

Prior to opening her home bakery, she enjoyed baking for the Lake Superior State Hockey team on away trips. She credits baking for the team as a stepping stone to her alternative baking, as she wanted to fuel up the players as much as possible"!

We are looking forward to another wonderful market day tomorrow from 8am-1pm on Alpine St! The state flower of Michigan has popped up in Dexter 🚧, but we are open! Follow the signs for the market!

The vendor spotlight this week is a first-year vendor; Five Lakes Tackle!

Vendor Spotlight: Lex Gardens

The vendor spotlight this week is another familiar face; Alexis from Lex Gardens! This will be her third year as a vendor at the Dexter Farmers Market.

"What began as a sad patch of lawn on our little country plot has grown into Lex Gardens; a bustling little homestead with big dreams. I grow food for our family, and flowers for the pollinators, birds, and our table. All free of chemicals and pesticides. Front of my mind and on my heart is that we are but stewards of this land. Through locally and sustainably grown cut flowers, plants, and produce, I want to share that belief and its bounty with others".
